I'm going on holiday to Newquay, Cornwall with my husband in September. We are taking our caravan down and staying at Trenance Holiday Park. Can anyone surgest where we can go and what we can do for days out down there.

My sister and mum have just come back from a few days down there. They avoided Newquay like the plague, its just tacky like Blackpool. they stayed in Perranporth which they liked v much. St Agnes is a lovely village. They enjoyed the Eden Project and went for a very expensive lunch a t Rick Stein's restaurant in Padstow but they said it was the best meal they have ever had (and they saw Chrissie Watts from Eastenders in there- actress Tracy Ann Oberman who was heavily preggers!)
I went about 10 years ago and went to Lands End and Falmouth. Mousehole is a pretty village. Have a look on www.newquay.co.uk or www.cornwalltouristboard.co.uk for more info.

There are loads of National Trust Properties and Gardens in the Cornwall area. The campsite office will have a list of the local attractions you can visit, or will refer you to the nearest Tourist Information Centre.

It depends on your age and if you drive. There are plenty of clubs for night time entertainment. During the day you could either go surfing, lay on the beach or go sightseeing. There are plenty beautifull place not far from Newquay

I live 15 minutes from Newquay and can tell you the best places to go......
Hendra holiday park has an Oasis swimming pool with slides and all sorts of activities for every age...
Fistral beach is beautiful....
Watergate Bay, stunning....
Senor dicks restaurant, absolutely fantastic...
and berties is the best club.. ENJOY

You could take "days out" and visit the wonderful countryside surrounding beautiful Newquay, or you could be normal and surf and drink till u drop! Ride the waves man!!!!!!!

aah its the best - surf at watergate bay with the o'neill surf academy, and yes drink - make sure you go to sailors, berties, the beach, walkabout and barracuda. you'll have a fab time!
