Not sure if India has shelters, if so..check there first, you may find the one you are looking for..no specific breed

You can check your local blue cross office or People For Animal, PFA organization.
You can adopt a pet from their shelters.

go to your local SPCA and find a small dog that you like, they have people who will match you based on personality with a dog.

ok i suggest west Higland terriers(westies) they are so cute . they're all white and small. or anotherreally cute dog is a yorkshire terrier they hve golen brown fur and are really friendly
