Allmost everytime we meet other dogs when we walk she tries to scare the dog by "playing" agressive but if the dog would come nearer she wouldn't bite or anything. I know that's because she's afraid and insecure with other dogs and she tries to defend me. But how can I help her feel more secure?

There are many possible "symptoms" that could be causing this that need to be indentified in order for the problem to be resolved. First, where are you meeting these other dogs? Dogs are territorial creatures, my male Mastiff does not like strange dogs in his yard or territory and will show signs of aggression if this occurs. However, when he meets them in neutral places (like dog parks) he shows no sign of aggression at all (no territory that needs defending).
when you say "playing aggressive" what do you mean? does her ruff come up? is she growling? lip curling? You need to make sure in your training that she understands that you disapprove of these things and that they are unacceptable (we use a water-gun for this type of discipline, squirting them a dog in the face or ears is a good way to get their attention and distract them at the same time).
It could also be a fear response rather then an aggression response. this can be solved by patient and extended socializing with other dogs (try a local dog park) if your worried about her attacking another dog during this socialization, in the early stages use a muzzle. A muzzle if used and fitted properly is a wonderful training device (if you dont want to use a muzzle look into a leash called a gentle leader).
there are many other triggers that could be causing this talk to your vet, or find a reputable dog trainer in your area and talk to them, they can help you in the proper training and socialization of your quadrapedal furry friend.

Hope this helps!

You have to work slowly on the approach. If you know another dog is coming toward you (or vise versa) have treats available when they are even 500 feet away, begin by making her sit and stay. Walk a bit closer and do this again, she should at some point be sitting for the treat while the other dog is coming near, drawing attention away from it. And try to get her to sit when fully approached by any other dog or person.

Her actions are getting a reaction. She probably doesn't realize this, but you do. You have to retrain her emotion when another dog is approaching or near. She gets excited, and so probably you do to, or your yelling at her, or giving her some sort of attention for this behavior.

This was a simple 2 minute answer, but it will take ALLOT of time to get this command down, work on it slowly, it will NOT happen overnight. Baby steps, and don't get discouraged if she "relapses" she will need constant training on this or she may revert back after months...and you will have to start all over again.

Take her for obedience classes. They teach you how to train your dog,,,and she becomes more confident.
