If you posted it special delivery then I would get in touch with the post office, they should have a record of who/when it was signed for. Then sue the police for harrassment!

the police dont like giving up on most things.they carry out investigations as i believe they get a power kick and maybe a extra stripe for them.i know i have had a lot of police involvement over the years.and a few prison sentances.they be muppets who think they better than anyone else.i am having problems with police now.i must also say they did help me recently when i went through a windscreen of a car while crossing the road. and they where kind caring and helpful to my family.

I wasn't in worry, however the police have been given called to my residing house one time with the aid of fact my relatives is often having significant different and babies issues. i exchange into crying, and this policeman exchange into asking me questions approximately what had occurred in a combat that my mom and my grandparents had. It made me incredibly frightened. My grandmother exchange into attempting to get my mom arrested (for no reason; my mom did no longer do something incorrect). i think the police officer took pity in me, and in basic terms left me on my own. fortuitously my mom wasn't arrested. i think of the police observed how nuts my grandmother is. with the aid of fact of that day, police make me incredibly frightened. I do exactly no longer want them to come again to my residing house lower back and could arrest somebody. My aunt and my uncle, despite if, are becoming in worry. nicely no longer actual worry. besides, my cousins, my boyfriend on the time, and that i've got been at a cookout at my aunt and uncle's residing house. We have been having a actual sturdy time, ingesting and listening to song. My cousins have been throwing little cherry bombs in the outdoor, and shooting off my cousin's BB Gun. My aunt's neighbor is a grumpy, nosy guy, so he calls the police. they arrive and ask my cousins and my aunt some questions. My mom informed me that in the event that they get called lower back, they could seek the residing house. I have been given frightened, with the aid of fact i exchange into apprehensive my boyfriend's father and mom could get mad in the event that they knew the police have been called. fortuitously although they did no longer. My boyfriend and that i broke up a month in the past, so it is not suitable plenty anymore.

I was once arrested for putting my fist through a hotel door. I had been at a wedding party and some prick had stolen my jacket. I spent a night in cells but was released without charge!

I was arrested for burgling an off-licence (liquor store, for our North American readers), which I didn't do. The detective interviewing me said "The name's McGregor. Spelt Be Eh Es Te Eh Ar Dee". I laughed in his face, he gave me a very hard time. They caught the real perpertrator a few month later, so I was off the hook, much to Plod's annoyance.

10 months to realise it wasnt coming sound like he was pulling your chain... for the police to follow up a 10month missing camera shows the law is the joke.....
i once done a hoax call for a joke and got 8months inside which was a joke considering i'd get less for killing someone in a car or mugging people for drug money...

Are you sure that he was a policeman and not the guy or 'heavy' trying to frighten you into handing over the money. Ten months later is out of time for takiong you to court.

I've been hassled on occasion for no discernible reason, I think a lot of us were, back in the day when they could s&s you on a whim. I suppose with all these new antiterror laws they can s&s you or even shoot you on a whim now.
