It could be the heat. My dogs are eating more at night at the moment.

How long has your puppy been like this?

Make sure he has a cold wet nose and plenty to drink.
If he seems warm take a cold damp cloth and wipe his tummy and paws with it to cool him down.

If he is still acting this way later today then get him to a vets. But be calm it could well be the heat.

Its absolutely abnormal for puppies to be sleepy all the times. It very much possible that he/she is suffering from sleep-order disability. You must take to a vet as soon as possible, 'coz there might be a surgery required. The puppy's health would eventually start deteriorating.

Most puppies spend a lot of time sleeping, but the lack of eating is a big warning sign. Has he had all his shots? Canine Distemper is nasty, and almost always universally fatal. Get him in to see the vet PRONTO.

I would take your puppy to the vet straight away, just to get it checked out. My dog is only 18 months old and he has always slept alot and he is a very fussy eater, so your pup may be the same, but it is best to get him checked out by the vet.

Bring the puppy to the vet...my puppy (a chihuahua) had the same symptoms and it was diabetes.
