Ok so I've often felt things for other women for quite a while, but I've kind of ignored them as I've been with the same guy for almost 3 years and never wanted to leave the relationship... until now. The other night I had my friend over (a female) to drink and watch movies. She got kind of drunk and we ended up doing a little more than just kissing to put it lightly. We both admited that we enjoyed it and have "done things" together since then. I don't like doing this behind his back but I'm not sure how to break it off with him. Like I said it was a long relationship. Please help me I need some advice, I'm not sure what to tell him I don't want to just say, "Melissa and I had sex so I'm leaveing you for her."

be honest, you don't have to say I'm leaving you for her, but you can say "Things are different for me, I don't think this is going to work out" but break it off before you end up breaking the boys heart more than necessary.

Whats natural and godmade is that you only have sex with the opp sex. Unnatural attractions are temporary and counter productive, Even calling it a temporary deviation will not help.

This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I really love you and the time we have spent together. The problem is that I am not "in" love with you. I have tried to deny who I am and it is not working. I am incapable of loving you like you love me because I too have feelings for women. I would be untrue to myself and you if I kept living this lie. I wish this were easier for both of us, but that is impossible just like continuing to live this lie is impossible. I hope that we can still be friends as this has nothing to do with you, it is all me. Please forgive me for not doing this sooner, but I thought it was something that would pass, or was just a momentary thing. This is trully the best thing for both of us.

if you still want him and her try to introduce him into the relationship but be carefull that you friend and him do not fall in love. Or you need to tell him very gently with her support with you. You must be carefull that he does not become violent. If he is the violent type you may need to move out when he is not there and ring him after things cool off or not at all.

Pick one and stay true to that person. Life is too short to make yourself so unhappy. Whoever, you choose and you must choose, be honest. Break it off with respect and with everyone maintaining their dignity. It is not necessary to tell either that they are being replaced. I want to move on and end the relationship with honesty and conviction is enough. Why is not necessary regarding your decision.
