it is possible. unfortunately you have to kill yourselves or die of some kind of tragic war death in order for it to be love to last the ages. Read Romeo and Juliet, or watch Tristan and Isolde... Now there's the greatest love story of all time. But, anywho, yeah, you have to die and then your love will last forever. Otherwise it's all good until one day you wake up and one of you has gone psycho and suddenly you hate that person's guts. After all there is a mighty fine line between love and hate

Love has many different forms. A first love may be a forever thing in the event they are separated by fate and never got to see one another again. The loving memory will linger forever.
A real life true lasting love requires each person to mature, compromise, and communicate at the same rate. In my 23 yr marriage, my wife and I have aged from horny stoners to young parents through middle age crisis and into "when these kids finally move out we're gonna" 's.
People and situations change, and as long as a partner is supporting and does not blame time on the other love can prevail.

I think falling in love and this love lasts forever - thing sounds kind of passive. A relationship that lasts like this - forever - is a relationship with two persons who are loving and caring towards eachother. It is an active relationship they work on. They make sure to love eachother actively, not passive.

The thing about everlasting love is that you aren't always going to feel it. There will be times in a relationship that the other person has hurt your feelings, or you just don't want to be around them right then because something they're doing or saying is irritating you, or you're just feeling lukewarm about them. If you don't allow those lulls in your feelings stop you from continuing your relationship, your love will grow deeper and stronger with time.

Ya, Romeo and Juliet, but they died at age 13, so forever didn't last that long, maybe a couple of nights or so. If you mean forever literally, well then it will take us a long time to find out, perhaps never?

I havent seen anyone in my life who fall in love once that last forever except in Drama's or films.or if you are lucky enough to get married & be together.
Even if people are married or lose their partner they again start looking for love.
you just have to move on.
