I know someone who is here illegally and has mentioned to several people including myself that she has tampered with her passport as well as plans to marry an American to stay here. She bad mouths America and frankly I'd like to see her leave. Should I report her? Also, if I do report her she might know that it was me who did it. Should I still do it or should I just must mind my own damn business?

Report the invader! Point that criminal in the crowd out to the proper authorities! All the lame excuses… “You don't know how much she strugle to come here for you to do that”(GL), “This is way too big for you to handle”(jonzmom), “what will happen to her when returning … If her fate would be horrible I'd think about t a couple of times.”(arjenvan). My favorite escape from logic is from Paco navyflyrz, “Or did you dummies forget that we as tax payers foot the bill for sending non citizens back to the birth countries?” Yeah! Right! Their Section 8, food stamps, medicare, and emergency room costs are O.K. But A Bus Ticket Is Out Of The Question?
The senario’s of gidget and anjelinarobinson are silly and far fetched…And the name calling! Talk about low humor! “Snitch!! Mind your own business and stop hating” …
“Reporting her will only make you seem petty” … “u sicken me cuz u worry about other ppls life…get a clue, open a book, go back to school & learn alittle self respect for yourself & others”, that last from ladiB812 is a vile illiterate’s attempt as an insult upon her betters.

I'm going to play devils advocate for a moment. And here's my....with so many of us fighting on 2 war fronts, does this 1 person even rate that much attention? All you so called "good Americans" who suddenly found patriotism after 9/11, need to worry about other things than reporting a illegal who will still be here for up to a year even IF INS does pick her up. Or did you dummies forget that we as tax payers foot the bill for sending non citizens back to the birth countries? So, i suggest that if she irks you that bad, take the high road and avoid any and all contact with her. Reporting her will only make you seem petty.

Yes, go to the We Tip Hot line and you can report her anonymously. Just use: http:www.wetip.com You will need her name, address, description, etc. You can even get a cash reward for doing so. Read it carefully. You will need to call within a certain amount of time to get the cash reward. You can also write in the comment area that you do not wish to get a reward. Make sure you take a print out after submitting the facts. There will be a code number you can use if you think of any other information that may be useful to them.

There are enough legal aliens who come here using the correct methods who should get a chance to live in the USA. I don't like hearing about her bad-mouthing America. Tell her: Pixie, out you go!

I am wondering in what way she bad mouthes America and what that has to do with her being allowed to stay or not. Most likely she has a few points that would make America better.

A law is a law, however and perhaps it would be a good idea to obide by it.

Think of what will happen to her when returning to whatever place it is she came from though. If her fate would be horrible I'd think about t a couple of times.

If you saw her rob a bank or commit a murder would you inform the proper authorities? The crime she is committing, multiplied by an estimated 12 million times Is a burden on American citizens, and an Affront to ALL those that entered properly! Much like being called to jury duty, it is in fact a citizens obligation to assist in the enforcement of established laws. Doing ones civic responsibility is not a “snitch”, or so called "good Americans" who suddenly found patriotism after 9/11”, but a law abiding, honest citizen worthy of respect!

This from my own experience IF you report her you will be charged with aiding and abetting because you know she's illegal and tampered with federal papers. The questioning will go
ICE UNIT: MRS X you how did you know that Mrs Y was an Illegal?
YOU: She told me
ICE and how long have you known
YOU about ________
ICE So you knowingly and willfully allowed MRS Y to stay here for____ without reporting her?
AND you figure the rest from there I'm sure.

I think you should mind your own business.

I doubt that she has tampered with her passport. Depending on the type passport, it's not that easy to make alterations. Besides, have you ever seen her passport?

I think she just said it to get your goat. Obviously it worked. Don't make a fool of yourself by playing into the scheme.

I don't believe that what she's saying is true :) When you are illegal and when you tamper with passports, you keep your mouth shut! But you can still report her if you want to :) I would do it!

I reported my three illegal immigrant neighbors and NOTHING ever happened. They were using other people's identities, stealing from me, tried to break in more than once, loud and dirty, etc. It got to the point where I would have to go over to their half of the duplex three times a day to scream and them to turn their music down and call them spics and immigrants. I could have killed them and never felt bad for it. That's what I get for renting from a place called Amigo Realty ...

Sounds Eastern European to me. Many girls who come here from there have nothing nice to say about America. Yet they want to stay here. I don't get it. I love America.
Sure, call the Department of Homeland Security. They will check her out but they will do it anonymously.
Of course, they have more important things to do than track down one girl. But if they have her listed in the police files, they can certainly question her and scare the daylights out of her.
