Its tough to keep up enough energy for anything when the kids are this age. I am sure its rare you really get a good complete nights sleep. If they still nap, take a nap then too!
When kids are this age you spend so much time on them that it is easy to forget about you! You need to take a break during the day - get together with Friends that have kids - so you can let the kids play and you can talk to another adult!
Also some evenings, your hubby should enjoy the full experience of the kids - while you go shopping or to the health club alone.
And finally don't forget to get the baby sitter and get out with your husband. Even if its just to walk around the mall Get out without the kids! Its lets you remember that your just not mom and dad. And it should help give you some energy for other things;)

I hear you honey!! Been there. My guess is that you have a battle at bedtime, they don't get to sleep until late, and then you're stressed and just want some quiet time and a bed! I found the problem was with the kids bedtime actually causing the end of day stress. Try working on their bedtime routine, and start a little earlier each 2 or three days, to get them to sleep earlier and easier. Post a bedtime routine with pictures, let them mark it off when it's done, such as bath, brush teeth, potty, book, lights out!, Use it everyday, they will want to do it (promise), and stick with it. Bedtime will get much easier and you will be amazed at how much better you will feel in the evenings with more down time!! good luck!

It's mandatory to have a weekly time to yourself - like two to four hours alone (I go to movie alone). It has also helped to start putting the kids to bed earlier to have more quiet time with hubby. Exercising and adding much more fruit and veggies has helped too.

make sure to set aside time for yourself every time reading a book or taking a bath. And don't forget to take your muti vitamins daily
