I think there is no way she to let you go there until you are 18! As all mothers, your one is worrying about you and will be really anxious if you go there alone with your bf, without her. So...just wait till you are 18. Then you'll be able to go everywhere and your mom will have to accept it :) I have the same kind of problems with my mom except the place where I want to go. I don't want to go abroad but to the seaside. And she declined saying "I love you very much and I want to see you happy but I won't let you go there without me until you are of full age!"

Sorry sweetie, but i think you should allow a trusted adult to go with you, and let your parents have contact with whoever you're staying with in Vancouver, which should also be a trusted adult.
That's the only chance you'll have of convincing your mom to allow you travel with a teenage boy.

Go anyway...ask her, beg her first if you want . tell her that you're grown up and responsable enough to go you'll be with someone and you promise not to get put in jail say you'll call her every night tell her this is a chance of a life time and most importantly if she says no just go anyway...i'm 14 and i've done loads of things i wasn't allowed to do (as long as it wasnt dangerous) like i wasnt allowed to dye my hair so i did it any way or wearing black nail varnish...not allowed to do that but i do it anyway at the end of the day theres nothing they can do about it...i'm not a spoilt brat or anything i listen to what they say and if they have a good enough reason to stop you doing something then be responsable and dont do it .;. dont forget to tell me what she says
good luck

hum, I don't know if you should go. I know what I was like at 17! =) There is a reason she is going to say no. But if you must try and being a girl you should try anyway, just tell her you are meeting so really good friends(friends that she knows and likes) and tell her you want to go site seein' that you are mature enough to do so unless you're not then you are just up creek w/o a paddle. Good Luck!

Instead of convincing your mom to let U go, take her along so that she'll enjoy too the vacation & time. Isn't it the easiest way out ?

Be totally honest with her about what you are going to do. If she believes that you are a responsible person then she should let you go. However, if you have proven in the past that you cannot be trusted then you need to start working on rebuilding that trust.

Well, you have to bring somebody with you not just your bf. You are still young so your mom will sure be worried about you but if you have someone to look after you (that your mom trusts) then maybe she will change her mind. Just promise you wont do anything that will break her heart. God bless!

Unless your mother is crazy, there's no way she is going to let you go. And if she did.. and I knew who she was, I would slap her. Teenagers think they deserve everything and should be allowed to do whatever they want.. well.. sorry.. but you don't deserve everything and you shouldn't be allowed to do whatever you want. Wait another year until you graduate and move out.. then you can be responsible for your own mistakes.

Honestly it's probobly never going to happen but you could try showing her that you are more responsible than you act... and be nice to her and just have a totally diffrent attitude.

depending on the age gap between you and your boyfriend and weither supervision by adults (ie his parents) is present there is a very small chance that no matter what you say she will say no. alot will depend on your maturity, responsability, and attitude. and if all else fails... ask daddy
