UK is such a developed country, yet I see dirt on roads, gums on buses, scratches on tube trains and so on...Why aren't people aware that they are spoiling their own country's environment.

Mainly due to yobbish behaviour! This Government we have, if you can call it a government,supposed to be tough on that sort of behaviour,but only til they get elected!!To be honest,I think this country has gone down hill......fast,(if you get my drift) since Labour came to power, and because of that,people just don't care enough! The country as a whole has become very complacent!!
Dez isn't far out either!!

They are aware that they are spoiling their own environment. They just don't care about it.

i have to agree with you there hun. nobody cares that they are surrounded by litter and graffiti..its tht old senareo really...its not my problem..i didnt do it...but by doing nothing to prevent these things people are in effect as responsible as the culprits!
