I began to have this a few months ago. Bear in mind I'm only 12. I looked into about having a seizure but wigged out. My parent's peachcare (I live in GA) is currently going through, and will not be available until Aug. 1. I can't sleep. I wig out sometimes. Please help!

Ok.... I went through the same things. It might be completly different but look into panic attack disorder. I had it growing up for years, I'm 21 now and I'm finally just getting it under control, but I didn't know what it was for years. I too couldn't sleep ever, I would feel really anxious and scared and over tired and the less sleep you get the more you wig out. Another good thing to check out is called sleepapnia.....sometimes we can't sleep because we can't breath well enough and we just don't know it. Neither one of these things are serious. Sometimes our head gives us more trouble then our body and can cause us to have all sorts of physical problems. I had cat scans and tons of test before doctors figured out I just had sever anxiety without really a cause. But there are things that can help. Make sure you are honest with your doctor about EVERYTHING. they cannot diagnose you if you don't tell them all that's going on. Good luck.

Relax. It could be one of a couple of things but nothing that sounds very serious.
The most common problem is having acid reflux disease...yes, even at 12 years old.
Are you overweight? That could have something to do with it.
Sleep on a couple of pillows if you can and take some antacid before bed. This should help.

You need to tell your parents what's going on so they can take you to a doctor. Don't worry, just get help. That's better than worrying about it!
