Ductility describes how soft or maleable a material is.
Thick steel is not very ductile whereas aluminium used in drinks cans is.

Basically it is how easy bent a metal is. Whether the metal or substance can be pressed into a flat thin piece yet can still remain continuous. For example Gold is very ductile.

Eg.Metals are ductile.i.e. they can be drawn into thin wires. Silver and tungsten are very ductile.Silver wires with diameter of 0.00008mm can be drawn while the wires of tungsten are so thin that they are invisible to the naked eye.
