If your left handed than you shold hold aknife in your left hand to cut.

This isn't a matter of etiquette as much as it is safety. I don't really feel comfortable holding a sharp knife in my right hand, since I can barely hold a fork in it. Any potentially dangerous tool should always be held in the dominant hand.

I'm left-handed and you know, I had to think about it! I hold the fork which is pinning down the piece I want to cut in the right hand, and I cut with the left hand.

it makes no difference, as u are using knife for cutting the food with limited force. so keep using it in right as others do.

actually depends....if ur cuttin stuff lyk vegetables...use ur left hand....but if ur mad wid sum1 c wanna hurt urself....or commit suicide :P....use or right hand 2 cut ur left hand (no offense) but it'll definitely b more damagin as ur a lefty....so..enjoy cutting stuff wid a knife.....i'd rather use a sword tho....m i crazy or what???:P
