A nice guy, kind and lives the way the bible says life should be lived. But he does not believe in any religion. Would he go to hell?

Heaven and Hell. The old duality thingy doesn't really exist, if you don't want to. You may believe in whatever you want.

Is your life on earth more like heaven or more like hell?

I am a devout Christian...but I don't believe that he would go to hell. It is not our place as Christians to say who goes to hell or heaven...the Bible tells us not to do so. Also, God decides on who goes or not. Even if Charles Manson is there...what are we gonna punish God. Also, we don't know if we go to heaven or not...the Bible says nothing about humans going to heaven (kinda boggles ya don't it...look it up though). I'm sorry i just can't imagine the dalai lama going to hell when there are some self-proclaimed christians who should prob. go.

It isn't the lack of belief in a religion that will get you in hell it is the lack of belief in Jesus that will get you cast into hell. Does not matter if you are the nicest guy in the world if you don't believe in Jesus then you will not make heaven your home.

A good human being makes sure they have the correct category when asking questions about Religion.
Last one I'll answer. By the way, if you need help tracing your ancestors, don't hesitate to ask in the Genealogy category.
Thanks, and take care.

I feel so long as you are living the best life you can live at the time.. no matter what that means... you will make it to your own sort of heaven. God knows our weaknesses. our short comings, our pasts, and our hearts. Imagine if you had 4 children... all trying to live their lives only to please you. One was a genius and earned millions with their inventions, one was creative and sang beautifully, painted pictures that spoke to your heart, another child was autistic and couldn't speak, couldn't hear, couldn't tell you the things in his or her heart, the last child was what most would consider average, seemed to have no special talents that the world saw as great..etc.. which child would you love more? I think God loves us ALL the same way we love our own children.. and wants us ALL to be with him... just as I would want ALL of my children with me and no one else.. no matter what their challenges, abilities or talents were. I would love them and know that they loved me to the best of their abilities so why should one be punished over another for something that is completely out of their control. So YES.. he or she WOULD go to heaven!

no, not true, religions are just there to give people hope to move on in life, think of it like a handy cap for those who are not ready to face reality, religions and believe make people feel good in what is being taught to them, not because of punishment.

Good question, if you believe in God, you'll go to heaven.

Anyways, it's better to believe in God and find out if there is a Heaven and go to Heaven,

than to not believe in God, find out there is a Heaven, and go to hell.

yup. you could be ghandi and the buddha and all the other nice people in the world rolled into one, but if you didn't believe in god, then it's......

STRAIGHT TO HELL, DO NOT PASS "GO", DO NOT COLLECT ETERNAL LIFE

p.s. assuming all this spiritual stuff is actually true, of course :)

I think you must be either hung up, or trying to instigate something by posting in the wrong category purposely.

we are all born with sin in us and sin can't be in the presence of god so unless you have Jesus' blood to clean your sin you can NOT get into heaven
