In Matthew 27:46, it states, "My God, my God why did you forsake me?" Jesus said this on the cross because at that point he took on the sins of the entire world past, present and future. God who is holy is free from sin and could not be present with Jesus. Jesus is the Son but also God but the Father is greater. I think the Holy Spirit is like a feminine quality but also a He. This is a covenant to the Jews because Abraham was to also sacrifice his only promised son. Instead God promised a sacrifical animal to be cut into two symbolizing the parting of the Red Sea and that of the coming Messiah - Jesus Christ. After this dying on the cross, blood was shed because without blood there is no remission of sins. There is a price for sin. Before it was the blood of animals, now it is symbolic with it being the blood shed by Jesus Christ and that is why we have the Euchrist or communion. When we partake of the wine or new wine it is to remind us of the blood shed on the cross and our sins. God the Father helped the Son by making Him God also. The trinity is became full-fledged with the Son of Man Jesus Christ being fully human and fully God. Since God cannot be human, when He became human the Trinity manifested in physical form and also at Jesus' baptism with the appearance of the dove and the voice from heaven. God resurrected Jesus and helped Him out of course.
Why do all die because of one man Adam and with the second Adam being -Jesus, one man he can bring eternal life to all those that believe. Remember this is a cosmic battle between good and evil. It is a battle we all fight. Whose side are you on?

He could have done that. . He could have called 10,000 angels to destroy the world and set Him free (as the hymn says), but He had to carry through with the plan, or God wouldn't have His prize, those saints that will be with Him in Heaven forever, because His Son obeyed and stuck with the plan that they hatched together before the world was created, and that was the plan of salvation whereby Jesus went to the cross to suffer and take on Himself (pay for) the sins of the world.
The answer to your question is that that is what God planned. That is what Jesus had planned. It happened exactly as they had planned.

Jesus was an aspect of God. God the father is the purely rational aspect. The holy ghost is the guide and inspiration in our daily life. Jesus was the guy who bailed us out. I think there are some writings that say that in a meeting of the Trinity, Jesus said he would save humans if they messed up. The holy spirit told god not to bother with humans cuz they would mess up...and we did...so Jesus came and fixed it.

Jesus Christ had accepted the burden of sin for all mankind, past, present, and future, and was so separated from God by it, as sin separates the sinner from God. This was his sacrifice to save mankind once and for all, for those who choose to be saved.
This is how He has been called the Lamb of God, since up until that point lambs had been sacrificed for the sins of mankind. So, while saving mankind, He also saved many, many lambs!
Okay, that's it. Does it make any more sense now?

While Jesus was arrested someone draw a sword to one of the soldier and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear... then Jesus said
Put your aword back in it's place for all who draw by the sword will die by the sword. DO YOU THINK I CANNOT CALL ON MY FATHER, AND HE WILL ONCE PUT AT MY DISPOSAL MORE THAN TWELVE LEGIONS OF ANGELS? BUT HOW THEN WOULD THE SCRIPTURES BE FULFILLED THAT SAY IT MUST HAPPEN IN THIS WAY?
God is a just God and he is a god of love. He loved us. He turned His back from His son while Jesus was in the cross for our sake. To save us from death.

Hi!
Miracles will not make people believe in God....It is a desire to HATE wrong doing and sin that will make someone want to search about God!
Well, it is difficult to rise up from the dead than to come off the cross...In this way, HE WAS PROVING TO US THAT HE WAS GOD, BECAUSE ONLY GOD HAVE THE POWER TO RAISE HIMSELF FROM THE DEAD!
So His ressurrection actually confirms that "HE IS GOD" for only God can do such a thing!
He did many miracles before their eyes...those miracles did make them believe in Him...
One will find God if one begins to hate unrighteousness and begin to love the truth and humility...these will make one believe in Jesus Christ.
The Israelites in the old testament times saw GREAT MIRACLES...they saw the RED SEA breaking into two and they passed through it....BUT THAT DID NOT MAKE THEM BELIEVE IN GOD.
(By the way, the remains of the properties of Egtptian soldiers who were drowned in the sea by God were DISCOVERED recently. This documentary was featured on TV.So this confirms that the bible is true)
Hope this helps!
Hug!

Every soul who walks the earth has a clearly defined agenda...the SOUL agenda (or SOLE agenda if you wish). Even incarnations such as Jesus is not free from this and The Divine Father send him to earth to spread the message of love, compassion & spirituality on earth by being a role model himself. Through this final act of crucifixion, there were 2 important messages which had to be transmitted through Jesus's life
1. that the SOUL is indestructible, eternal & even has the power to manifest itself in the same body that it just left (as proven by rising of Jesus)
2. that we humans should learn the Divine love that Jesus bestowed upon his tormentors even in the worst of agony when He prayed to the heavenly Father to "Forgive them for they know not what they do". What we understand here is that the true path of God is to love everyone unconditionally and not to judge / condemn / hate anyone because every living creature on this earth is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit in myriads of forms, shapes and sizes, and each with its own agenda.
We all belong to ONE, we are all made of ONE, we all will return back to the ONE and we are that ONE.

Eve was deceived by the devil when he told her she could be as god. She betrayed God commandment not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This betrayal of God Word put humans under the control of the devil and God cast the out of the Garden of Eden. God placed the serpent to crawling on his belly and eating dust the rest of his days. God made Eve and all women after her to suffer the pains of child birth and under the control of her husband. God told Adam that because you have hearkened to the voice of you wife you will earn your living by the sweat of your brow. God then cursed the earth with briers, thistles and thorns. The whole earth will not give its fruit to man as it had in the garden but all of nature would be against man because of his sin.
Have a good day.

he isn't.. he's a man.. who is a son of God.. (emphasis on the word SON)
Jesus even said that he's not God.. and that he has a God who is the Almighty Father..
it's Constantine's fault why there is a false belief that Jesus is a god.
research on this.. oh yeah.. even the birthday of Jesus is not DECEMBER 25.. it's the feast day of the roman god of fire..
see.. it's also constantine's fault..
p.s. God sent his only son.. not sent himself or not sent another God....

It was told in the Old Testament, that some one would die upon the Cross, for our Sins and iniquities...
That person was JESUS CHRIST. HE died, so that the World may "live", through HIM.
HE took the "sins of the World" upon HIM, so that we may be "washed in the blood of the LAMB", and be clean again...
GOD had to sacrafice HIS SON, for our sins, or, we would not get to Heaven, for everyone has sinned, and to Repent, those sins, as you dedicate yourself to JESUS and are baptised, then you are forgiven of them...
I wish you well..
Jesse
