Cross Training (X-training) - is training by using a variety of different activities and exercising different muscle groups each time. This is instead of the usual type of training where you might hit the gym and do the same circuit on the same machine for weeks or months.

Body Combat and Body Pump (pump for short) are two group (class) exercise programmes designed by the Les Mills exercise company.

Body Combat (which I do and is a lot of fun) is a lot of martial arts moves strung together in repeated patterns in a class setting with a lot of loud dance music.

Body Pump is a low impact weights class set to music.
