Other than going to school, find a part time in an electronics store you'll learn so much because you will be see the latest in technology. At my company we have have take certifications on all the new electronics that we sell.

like anything else in life anyone is good at...you must eat, read, live and love electronics. You must enjoy electronic hobbies, read electronic magazines and go to a trade school wouldn't hurt. Think completly overzeoulous type dedication

My answer is experience. Try to work with things a lil. Depends on what kind of electronics also. If your interested in computers, working with different programs can help. If your interested in stereos and video game consols...don't know what to tell ya.
