As a Girl Scout leader, I can tell you that they are made 100% from ground up people who ask stupid questions on Yahoo Answers.

yes, they actually take little fingernail clippings of the girl scouts themselves and grind them up and put them on the cookies with grated "coconut" on it... the "coconut" would be the girlscouts' fingernails...they're mighty tasty if i may say so myself.

YUP. you mince them up,blend them a bit but not too much so the chunks are chewy when baked to perfection.add sugar,flour,lots of butter and baking powder.
and yu r set.into the oven.
