I do that too.. Sleep deprivation. NOT GOOD! Try to get to sleep around 11.30/midnight for starters. And then work your way down the clock depending on what time you have to wake up.
Take the time u have to wake up, subtract by 7-9 hours. Thats when you should go to bed.

Taking a glass of warm milk, listening to soothing music, and reading an inspirational book may get you to sleep more soundly.
One may need to tackle the underlying problems before one can sleep more soundly.
A normal adult actually needs about 6-8 hours of sleep.
