Yes, I know, this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard and I know it's not likely to happen, but, if it did, what would happen then? Wouldn't they just hop the next border? What exactly do they have in mind? What is their goal? Do they want Texas to be 100% hispanic, but still be a part of the United States? Or do they want it to belong to Mexico? Sorry if you think this is a stupid question.......I'm just confused on their way of thinking.

I think that Mexico wants to be just like America but wants to be just like Mexico too..They don't see that they cant have it both ways...They want America to recognize the Mexican culture but at the same time demand that we learn Spanish here in America thereby diminishing our culture. The Mexican immigration laws are some of the strictest in the world and they complain about the U.S wanting our (very liberal) laws obeyed. They want respect but offer none...All I hear is how Mexico wants..they want this they want that. Mexico is in the process of ratifying their "constitution" for the sole purpose of having a stronger case when they attempt again to demand better treatment of their illegal nationals here in America. They have yet to be successful in winning a case here in Arizona.The Mexican government is furious with one of the sheriffs here.

I'm a Mexican dewd in Cali, and i think that mexico wanting texas back is dumb. If they can barely maintain their own country, why add more to it? Also, I am against the diminishing of borders, as it would kind of defeat the purpose of having a country.

To all those who think terrorists will jump the border, thats bad logic. If you take the time to remember wat happened, the people who plotted 9/11 were here legally on visas. Terrorist organizations have a lot of money, so they can of course get documents falsified and whatnot. They can just cruise thru customs if done right, and not even bother with trekking thru the mexican desert.
