Yes, I do believe these are the end times. Look at the rampant sin, debauchery, and others evils that plague this world. God destroyed Sodom because it was too full of evil for Him to look upon anymore. How close are we to that? I think very close indeed! Look at the unrest in the Middle East! It's coming, folks, and I hope all are ready! God bless!

I posted a question similar to this and everyone thought i was wrong to think of this... however... i am CONVINCED that all the signs are there and anyone who doesn't take action in this time of crisis, is naive and doesn't want to be a part of those who are 'saved' in the first part of the Apocalypse... that's their own fault... b/c they will have to endure times that no one can ever imagine... I'm not down for that, so I'm living the best life that i can live, so i hope i will not have to suffer the way that God says the people that were left behind, will have to

I caught the end of a show on the history channel the other night that was going thru the messages of Revelations and it sure seems we very well could be. Especially since the valley where the Armageddon is supposed to be fought has already been used in many historic battles and is very close to where a lot of the fighting in Israel and Lebanon is going on.

People have believed that since the first century. Early Christians were known to look for Jesus on the street of their cities. I don't think its anything we should worry about. If we are Christians then we are ready when and if the end comes. The end is coming for all of us anyway, so does it really matter how and when. Sometimes I wonder if the Second Coming just happens to each of us when we die and Jesus comes to take us home with him. I have trouble with those who believe that they fully understand the book of Revelation. It is so symbolic and allegorical that even the greatest Biblical scholars can't agree on what it means. Be very suspicious of anyone who tells you he or she has it all figured out.

I almost wish it was the end times so that we could witness the end of this type of question.

Over the generations, there have been countless Christian cults spreading the belief that they were living in the end times.

1-1-1000? Nope. They were all wrong.

1-1-2000? Nope. They were all wrong.

6-6-2006? Nope. They were all wrong.

The list goes on and on, but surely you can see the pattern. So far, everyone who has claimed it was the end times has been wrong.

In all probability, so are you.

The whole bible doesn't speak ofthe endtimes, just revelations, and that is only a possibility, since the author said it was a dream in the first few lines. Mind you, newer copies of the bible have removed those lines, since many of the fundamentalists actually base their whole religion of revelations, not the bible.

Humans are always so scared. What is this more or less 150.000 years of existence compared to other species?

We just need to evolve another 100 mio years and should be a little more relaxed.

Earth and Sun will last long enough for a second and third try of inventing concious beings. Just in case mankind will not make it.

actually, i hope one day the bible stops speaking.
how many wars have been fought for the reason of anybodys religion or even bare belief? and for how many people have these wars been the end?
we will indeed go directly into the "end times" someday, and i truly BELIEVE with all my heart that the fact that 99 percent of the world population keeps on believing that the great GOD will save them then that makes 99 percent of the world speeding up the process of moving closer to the end by doing nothing but hope instead of waking up and changing the things they want to be changed themselves!
believing in any god only saves people from thinking about the sense of their lives and from the depressing answer that there is no sense in life. instead of still loving life and creating their own sense in their lives and dealing with all the fussing and fighting and trying to work it out they believe that god is the reason for everything. even after so much knowledge we gained in 2000 years about us, our life, and all the "wonders" that take place (birth, fire, thunder, full moon, illnesses...) people still believe in someone who reputedly controls everything, although we all KNOW that he does not...
THIS for me is the end of times!

A very few blind bats feel that way. Actually they have been thinking like that for the past 2 centuries if I am correct.

I don't know when they would come to reality. May be the world should develop further !
