Contrary to what the last answer said, they DON'T have to list if it contains animal products. And if there are animal products in the flavoring (which is entirely possible) they don't have to list the ingredients specifically. Hence the vague labels "Artificial Flavoring" and "Natural Flavoring"
For a good reference, read the book "Fast Food Nation". There's an entire chapter devoted to the flavoring industry.

no! i am the biggest dr. pepper lover and a vegetarian. i live in texas so i think i would have heard about that. also, they legally would have to put that on the label that it contains animal-derived ingredients. i know that they changed their recipe a little, but not like that
