So, why are you dating this guy? Is it because he is more handsome than other guys? I think it would have to be, because his personality seems to stink.
If you are choosing to stay with a guy based upon his looks, why are you angry at him for using looks as well?
I am not defending this guy - he sounds like a real choad, and deserves to get locked in a gay bar during hapopy hour - a lesbian gay bar. It might not straighten (no pun intended) him out, but he will learn some pretty painful lessons about scoping women out. He truly sounds as dumb as a box of rocks.
However, you have to accept part of the blame here because rather than giving him one warning about his behavior - ONE WARNING - before getting up and leaving his bum there and then. take a cab home if necessary.
By allowing him to do this repeatedly, you are telling him it is okay for to do this, and you are going to allow him to do this.
If you don't want him to do it, tell him so and be prepared to back up your warning. If you aren't prepared to do so, you had better get preparedfor him to start justifying a lot of more serious issues on genetics, being a guy, etc.

I've noticed the same thing. I think its genetic or something.
I've never really thought it was 'disrespectful' unless they were very obvious about it. Quick glance over = ok. Staring with your mouth hanging open = pathetic and rude. The same goes for looking over repeatedly, turning around to get a second glance as your walking away, making eye contact and smiling at the other woman, etc.
For women that refuse to put up with that behavior, I agree with you. Its not jealousy. Its about expecting respect and considerate behavior. And that is not too much to ask for. These guys that claim its jealousy would be complaining if their girlfriends couldn't stop staring at the guy sitting at the table next to them.
I do have girlfriends that do the same thing when it comes to guys and their boyfriends though. It works both way.

Let me guess.....Um, your angry!
It's not even always lustful......(it's actually normal). The problem is when it's done in a way disrespectful to the person your with. It shows a lack of class and maturity.
BTW guys....when you gawk at us and your with another woman, we think your jerks.....you don't stand a chance anyways.

it's true that many of them do lust... they're stimulated by sight... & some guys have no self-control.
some do care & some don't care about practicing self-control over their minds & bodies.

if girls hooked up more then there would be less lusting going on cause then its just like well shes just another girl and ive had plenty of them and its just sex and i get plenty of that too.
for every action or non-action there will be a reaction

well....it's like a radar that wouldn't just turn off!
for some men, it doesn't mean anything....and i agree, it just depends on how well you understand your man.
but for the others, who's almost drooling....well, they're just pervs....we cannot change them.
