i know the best camera ever.

its called the Casio EX-P700.

its 7 Mega-Pixles.

and its got so many features its crazy.

i think Casio stoped making it though.

it must have been to good to make money off of.

i have boughten 2 off of amazon.com and other places.

and i showed my friend the camera... he bought one a month later.

its great.

once again thats the Casio EX-P700.

Cannon and Nikon, are the best. Get one at least of 5.0 or higher mega pixels.

I think it just depends on what features you are looking for. If you want to take time in buying one u can go to cnet.com, they do reviews and show you videos of people who tried them out.....will help you pick one out.

sony dsc-n1, cost $500 though, but well worth the money, its even got a touch screen, paint edit, and music slide show :O)

i have a nikon coolpix, and its pretty good

sony powershots are great, but expensive
