Why is it that some Atheists make the argument Christians believe because they are afraid of something, or need a crutch? Im happy if I die and heaven awaits, and if I die, and there is nothing anymore, why would I care, Im dead. Im not afraid of living either, or any punishment that awaits, I am an adult, and am willing to accept sometimes my choices bring me harm.

Why do some Christians act like Atheists are afraid? Clearly they are not afraid, or theyd be clutching for any way to stop from dying, or tremble at the thought of living?

Cant we all just accept we are afraid of boogeymen, spiders, heights, maybe even one another, whatever, but that fear plays no part in our choices when it comes to religious choice, or non-religious choice as the case may be?

I believe in the right to choose...It's kinda wierd but if we keep an open mind to others....define religion through our own experiences....accept what you believe to be right (right can only be decided within) and reject those things that we cannot accept to be right from all religions......(assuming that all religions have thier postive and negative points) I think we could define a better religion an individual religion that would be universal and hence there would be no necessity for fear.......hmmm im probably wrong which i usually am but it seems to fit.....

Because it is the Bible that tells us we should fear God and his wrath. People say, oh, he's like a parent that disciplines his children. But why do people try to humanize God. If God is forgiving and he gave us free will, why would he discipline us. I think he just watches and hopes we learn by our mistakes. He doesnt force us to behave like a parent would, as so many Christians say. We have the choice. So you are right, there should be no fear in religion, but Christians put it there.

I have been searching for spiritual truths all my life. Read the book "Way of the Peaceful Worrier", by Dan Milam. Or read "Awaken the Genius".

Worrying about what others believe is a waist of time. Trying to convince someone to believe one thing or another is pointless.

"A mind convinced against its will is of the same opinion still."

im afraid of dead animals and nuclear attacks. im agonistic and i am happy as hell. thats when you dont really care about religion. you just don't make it part of your life. no aethism or christianity and i have been introduced to both. in fact as of two years ago i was catholic. most of my friends are aethiest. i dont feel that i need any "belief structure" in my life because i decide whats right or not nobody else. of course, i am afraid to die cause i feel i have so much to live for. not cause im afraid of the consequences. i think everyone should have that attitude

searching down from the well being facility ceiling in spirit style when I died watching the Drs. artwork on me made me count number on existence after lack of existence. that placed worry in me because I under no circumstances believed in that type of stuff. i did not count number on God neither. After that adventure i replaced into like, i replaced into incorrect huge time.i began seeing issues in a clean mild. i'm no longer proper yet i love God with all my heart, options, soul. i love my neighbor.those are both commandments Jesus gave. each and every thing else falls in position once you want a million yet another. you wont lie ,scouse borrow ,commit adultery. It says no man or woman is proper yet God contained in the bible so i'm anticipating no longer to pass to hell. in case you've been to study the bible and take each and every be conscious literately each and every man or woman ought to pass to hell.Christ is freedom and being chuffed and under no circumstances hectic about is this a sin or no longer. appreciate existence yet pay interest to the holy spirit in you and also you gained't pass incorrect. you do not forget that feeling once you're doing something incorrect. in case you do sin say sorry and do not repeat it. god Bless

You're right, it does go both ways. Though I think I'm a little better of not having to wonder if I end up in heaven or hell after death. The ocean is my plans so far.

I completely agree.......we should stop trying to convince one of the other. With all of the time an energy we spend debating and trying to change eachothers minds we can be focused on crime and the ongoing wars around the globe for Christs sakes.

All atheists pray on their deathbed.
I have not met a real atheist so far.

Like one atheist marine once wrote in a book called
"we thought we heard the angels sing" : THERE ARE NO ATHEISTS IN FOXHOLES.

All the athism happens in good times.
