I love long distance coach trips into Europe but SRS's often make them untenable. A travelling partner of the opposite sex would add to the enjoyment AND widen the range

Some tour operators (Contiki and Connections both do this)) specialise in tours for travellers and will assign you a room-mate. I did a tour of Australia a few years ago, each new place you stay in they circulate a room-mate list, you get new room mates each place you stay in.

Otherwise, why not advertise for a travel partner in your local newspaper, magazine, travel website?

What's wrong with a traveling partner of the same sex, if you are honestly only looking to avoid SRS?

Some travel companies specialise in holidays with no SRS, but I think more expensive than coach trips.

Why not advertise locally, so you find and get to know someone before setting off on holiday - together. Try a notice in the local newsagent window.

if you were offering to take me on a flight and you are gorgeous and a nice person of opposite sex i'd come with you.. coz i love travelling..but it's all on the cheap... bus .. srs etc...

if you wait for others to do things you'll never get to do them.. so do them alone.. for all it costs for a srs would you not rather enjoy your holiday than be with a complete stranger that you perhaps don't get on with...

if you are lonely and looking for love or s*x /... i don't think here is the place to find lurve or the other ! happy holidays wotever happens tho :-)
