John 1 clearly said He is the word of God....Not God…… All thru Johns Gospel Jesus always said his father is greater them Him....God sent him... Jesus has life because of the father...and in another Gospel he said the Lord God is one

The only time he gave inference as he was
God is when Phillip said show us the Father and Jesus said the Father in him and he in the Father...

other then that no were ever in the bible has Jesus said He was God..

could our leaders be the false, teacher, prophets..considering they are over riding a lot of what Jesus really said..to their way of thinking..

you must remember during the beginning of church leaders since Christ I would have been killed for what I am saying now...

and this would not be brought up again....so Jesus never said he was God...our leaders say he is God…. Christians do you choose Jesus or your leaders

So is Jesus God

In John it clearly says In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. John 1:1 and 1:14 Christ also said the Father and I are one. First Timothy 3:16 says And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, {Christ} justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world and recieved up into Glory. Jesus did say that he and the Father were one and he that has seen me hath seen the Father. Luke 14:9 What translation of the Bible are you using? Jehova's witness do not belive that Christ was who he was, but their Bible version differs from most and it is clearly writtne in the book of Revelations that any one that takes away from or adds to this book will be written out of the book of life. Rev.22:19 Good luck with your search for the truth, don't give up your search you will find the truth if you want to know it. God Bless

The Muslims don't believe in Trinity. That's why they accept Jesus as a prophet but not as God. Read about the concept of Trinity on a good site or from a reputed Bible Commentary. You will understand that God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit are all one and the same.

Jesus claimed that He done nothing until the Father showed Him, and the Father is the Holy Spirit; we realize that. It's just an office of God. If it isn't, then which one of them is the Father of Jesus Christ? Jesus said God was His Father, and the Bible said the Holy Ghost was His Father. Now, you can't make Him be an illegitimate child; so the Holy Ghost is God. So is Jesus God. So God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. That's three offices of one God. It's three attributes; the same God. You're a part of God, and I'm a part of God; but I'm not all of God, and neither are you all of God. See? It's attributes of God upon us, as sons adopted by Jesus Christ, which God Himself become flesh to die for us.

John's gospel has over 40 references to Jesus as divine. John 1:1 literally says, "In the beginning was the word, the word was with the God, and God was the word. That last phrase, a construction called "predicate nominative," contains a reversed word order. The effect is that the object, "word," tells us something about the subject, "God." John was telling his readers that the word and God were interchangeable. He goes on to tell us that Jesus was that "word." The divinity of Jesus is the primary theme of this gospel.

There is only one true God and his name is Jehovah.(Ps83:18;Rev.4:11).
Jesus Christ is Jehovah's only begotten son,the first born of all creation, through who all other things were made.(Col.1:15)
Holy Spirit is not a person but God's active force, what he uses to accomplish his purposes.
At John 10:38,the Catholic Jerusalem Bible reads:'....then you will know for sure that the Father is in me and I am in the Father."The NW translation renders the same verse as:".....that you may come to know and may continue knowing that the Father is in union with me and I am in union with the Father."Jesus was showing that he and Jehovah was "one" in purpose and activity.
But as you already pointed out,the sciptures clearly show they are not equal. The Son always acknowledges the Father's superior position, subjecting himself to his Father as his God and delighting in doing his Fathers will
Jesus truely is,not 'God the Son',or the 'second person' of a triune God but the 'Son of God'-John 20:31.

Unfortunately the doctrine of the Trinity was fused into apostate Christianity in the fourth century CE.It has it's roots in pagan beliefs. The same can be said of the immortality of the soul. That also is not a Bible teaching.
If you are sincerely interested in learning what the Bible really teaches and want to come to an accurate understanding of the Scriptures, why not consider having a free home bible study with Jehovah's Witnesses. They use the Bible as their only source and they also live their lives by its principles.

Jesus is God, yes. He said "I and the Father are one", the Father being God, and the first person of the Trinity. In the Hebrew Bible, the Book of Isaiah prophecies Jesus' coming in chapter 9, verse 6: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace".

Jesus is NOT God. He is God's son and the master worker over all of the creation. He is ruling at the right hand of God until the end of the thousand years and then he will hand over the kingdom to his God and Father. No doubt about it. The Bible tells it all.

I always felt the same way. The first commandment says not to worship any false gods. Just the one true god.
The Catholics invented the holy trinity to create a loophole in the first commandment and make Jesus a god.
I follow the teaching of Christ so that makes me a Christian. I just don't call him God.
And to those who say I'm not a Christian I say only your own religion thinks you are. All the other Christians say you're not one of them.
Religion was meant to divide us into holier groups. Mine's the holiest but I'm alone in it.Just me and God. We don't want new recruits. Why dilute my religion by spreading it around?

In what religion has the devil made himself equal with God?
