Global warming has largely been discredited. It's theories do not stand up as they should. Whilst a little warming is melting ice in one area oceans and seas in other areas are actually getting colder faster!

Many scientists speculate that a new ice age is more likely.

The same amount of rain is falling it is just falling somewhere else. Thus causing floods and droughts in different places.

It is vitally important that we do not try to fix what we do not understand because if we are wrong we could cause far more damage.

We need to understand the elements of the global warming theory that appear correct and then try and understand the elements that are incorrect and try and understand why.

The hole in the ozone layer has only been known about for a relatively few decades and no one knows whether there was a hole there before or not. Therefore if the normal state is to have a hole and we close it we could cause the disaster we seek to prevent.

Nearly everyone now calls what is going on as climate change as that accurately describes what is happening without being dogmatic about what is causing it.

Yes,it is happening.
The average temperature of the earth's surface is increasing and it is affecting us by various means.I don't know where you live in.But I think you recently heard the news of very high temperature in Britain in last week.Do you know why the people of Britain, Northern U.S.A.,Northern Europe are suffering from such heat waves instead of their location in the cold temperate and sub-Arctic zone?
The only reason is the global warming.
The tropical storms like Hurricane,Cyclone,Typhoon,Willy-Willy are becoming more hazardous just because of this global warming.Recently the California coast & Mexico coast was ravaged by severe intensified hurricane storms.
Not only this, the global sea level is rising as the glaciers are melting. Its resulting in the submergence of the trpical coastal area.If you are in New York,Then you must be cautious.Because according to the scientists it will also submerge by 2050 with all other cities like Kolkata & island countries like Sri Lanka due to the rising water level.
The total disorder in global climate is observing in recent days which is said to be the affect of global warming which is unavoidable. Many trpical land is turning desert. Agriculture is get affected due to uneven distribution of rainfall. Somewhere people are crying for little bit of rainfall, whereas somewhere it is causing flooding.
Now I think you have understood how the global warming affect everyone, not only you.

Yes global warming is happening. When? Sometime in the future. It won't affect us now, beside the temperature getting a little hotter. So far, most of us are saying, "let the people of the future worry about it."

We need to get real. The world has been changing since the time began. I'm sure glad because.....How would we survive if the dinosaurs still roamed the earth. We better worry more about the politicians who are willing to slit our throats in order to live in the White House. And I don"t mean Bush. We need to worry about solving the hunger problem and please try to love our neighbor, be kind and care about some one other than just our self, while the earth keeps changing as it always has and always will till the end of time.

No one truly knows the answer. Anyone who gives a definitive answer is simply giving you their opinion. There are also a variety of different possible effects, ranging from a negative response to a positive response (including the null hypothesis). Most earth scientists seem to be of the frame of mind that, if it is happening, we will start to notice it later rather than sooner, but that (assuming it is happening) it will be too late to change anything by that point.

It has been happening for the past few thousand years - It is happening now and will happen in the future. Yes it does effect us in various ways though we won't feel it since it happens over a period of time and not over night. It is something to be alarmed of in the long run, but not immediately. But we need to act now to save our future.

yes it is happening dear.
its very much true.
It has been proved becoz the sea level of all oceans are increasing. even the average temperature of the world is increased by 3 degree celcius by this 20years.

If it continues then ice on our polar regions will melt which results in increase in sea level and it will cause flooding in all over the world.

when a river crosses its limit one or more villages get affected.
but think when ocean crosses it limits its destroys whole cities.

There are thousands of references to this subject, just google "golbal warming". The most effective presentation of the facts is in the movie "An Inconvenient Truth", whose accuracy has been verified by climate scientists.
