is your cat a male? If he is...you need to get him to the vet right away. Male cats can get plugged....he needs to have a urinary catheter put in so he can pass the urine out of his bladder. If you do not take him he could DIE. The vet will understand if you don't have all the money right now....don't think a vet would turn you away since this can be life theatening to your cat. I sure the vet will let you set up a payment plan. Call your vet now.

Take your cat to a 24 hour vet right away!!! There are allot of them. Explain your $$$$$$ situation to them, they will work something out 4 U. Your cat has a Urinary Tract Infection (U.T.I.) & they are VERY serious. Your cat will die without some medical treatment & FAST!!! When it gets this bad you don't have any other choice. but to take him in. Don't make your cat suffer anymore please do the right thing. If you don't have the $$$$$$ 4 an animal then next time don't get one, you have to think about the animal before yourself. You chose to get him he did not choose to have you as his owner, so if you have to go without so he can get help then you need to whatever it takes to help him!

Most vets will take payments please do not let your kitty suffer even if money is tight they went into the profession because they love animals.. so even if the first several you call will not see the kitty without money keep trying good luck and god bless the poor kitty i know stones hurt people it has to be bad for a kitty also

Here's a site I found and I also pasted a part of the site here. Read it all and see what you think.
http://www.holisticat.com/kidst_arch.html
give plenty of water, add extra water to wet food, maybe even place a few grains of unrefined sea salt on pet's tongue to encourage him/her to drink. [I have found that a water fountain helps in this dept.; also many others have suggested using distilled water to help clear up stones
"Willard Water extract [added] to pet's water for improved nutrient assimilation and to boost resistance to infection."
250 mg vit. C 2x daily per 10 lbs body weight. Puotinen write,"Vitamin C improves the acid/alkaline balance and, according to Wendell Belfield and other authorities, prevents and dissolves kidney stones despite the widespread belief that it causes these problems." Again, she recommends a natural vit. C or calcium ascorbate.
On the site it tells a lot of food recommendations that you might experiment to see if the cat will eat it. Best of luck to you with your cat's pain.

Your cat needs to go to a vet right now....or he could die!!!
You can NOT give him anything to help the pain he is in, and he is in agony... His urinary track is blocked...! It is NOT a kidney stone!!!
Do NOT put any sort of pressure on his abdomen, and get him to a vet...!

DO ((((((((((NOT))))))))))) give your cat Tylenol....... It will kill your cat..... if it is that much pain. Take it to the vet and work out payment arrangements. He could have sand in his bladder or even diabetes. He/She needs to be checked. I wish you and your cat the best... I gave my cat Tylenol and it just about killed her because she was sick with a bad tooth. She lived, but it cost me dearly. But it was worth every penny. If you have to give up a cheap habit to take the cat, do what ever is necessary....You will be glad you did..... best of luck

it sounds like your cat has bladder crystals, which can be a serious problem for his health. they are usually caused by magnesium-rich cat food, so i recommend going to the vet to have him checked out. the cost might be a little much, but it will be worth it for you and your kitty. :)

There isn't anything you can do.. if the stone is too large he will need surgery or Lithotripsy but just let nature run its course, he should pass it eventually.
