Rush Limbaugh told of this report on his radio show last week. It was an article reported by the media. It turned out the scientist that advocated this jump is a cartoon character. Who heard this and what do you think about this crazy spoof? Was this really an answer for globel warming?

Don't blame this on Rush Limbaugh. He reported the stupidity of a media source other than his. He was pointing out how utterly gulable people can be.

Who is this Rush guy ? He is a complete idiot who does not know the laws of physics.
If we need to do that we need to apply an external force that comes from space - If the force is created on earth it self, it will always have the opposite reaction to negate it. It's like getting in to a car trying to push or show it forward. You obviously need to get out of it and let the road grip you so that you could push the car forward.

Even if something like that could move the Earth, it wouldn't make sense to have everyone in the world do it, since you'd be applying a force on all sides, resulting in a negligible net force, at best.

I would like to ask him a question, if his house roof has a hole, will he asks all his family members to jump so that like to global warming his house warming also takes place. First of all, he should have told about the necessity of nature. In the world the technology has improved, which had betrayed the nature. In my view technology had made so vulnerable problem to global warming.

and why would they want to tilt earth??? i dont get poeple these days, so stupid, they dont know what to do anymore. instead of fixing the way kids are behaving these days and instead of trying to help kids into all of the bad stuff they try to figure out how to tilt the earth!!!! It would actually be enough force to cause major seismic events,perhaps even enough to crack the earth.
If you could get 3,000,000,000 people to do anything though,world hunger poverty,pestilence,and all the things that suck;would be a thing of the past.
