I do believe in spirits, angels, but not ones exactly that are like Casper or any scary movies. I don't understand why almost everyone I know believes places can actually be haunted like you see or read in scary movies/stories. It presents an unneeded fear. And I just don't understand where they get it from? One of my friends is actually scared to come to my house because I live next to a graveyard. She also believed one time when her and her church went snowboarding their hotel was haunted, because she swears the clock moved backward, and she says that her friend can sense ghosts. Isn't believing in this stuff (especially the fear) just mostly something we actually enjoy, rather than sincerely believe? Because it is thrilling to believe a real place is actually haunted?

We have seen real spirits and we have heard real spirits. My husband one night was sitting watching TV and this oval shape came down from stairs and when it got to the bottom of the steps it formed the shape of a lady dressed in 1800 clothes walked into the kitchen then into our sons room my husband followed it and she was standing next to my son bed she looked at my husband and was gone. In the same house we had these dark orange colored spots on our hard wood floor and when I would mop them they would go away but when the floor was dry the next day the would be back they where not huge about the size of a dime or penny. So I took a scraping off of the floor and took it ot work with me.. it was blood. Then one day when we where coming in from the park we heard a loud bang up stairs and then closet doors slam. We took off up stairs and when we got up there all the built in dresser drawers where opened and clothes on the floor and the windows where shut and no one was in there.Inthis house we have now my daughter and I both see shadow figure and hear a man whistle. She sees an older male all the time in the house he just sits there or stands right next to the doorway . Each night before I go to sleep I have to say "OK I'm going to bed now so please just leave me alone I am really tired. If I don't I get noises and lights and its a mess and my 14 yr old does the same thing. The other people in our house and they never sleep well..I could go on and on...so yeah ghost are real.

I'm not trying to mock or insult anyone but I think there are pretty natural reasons for all these mysterious experiences. I think a lot of us want to believe in strange phenomena, it's kind of fun. Try to remember when you were a kid and didn't understand the world yet. How mysterious it was. Those were fun times. I think instead of being freaked out over them, we should try to enjoy the mystery in it.
Figures show up in the night, ghost appear and things in the sky probably have logical reasons for them that we just don't understand yet. Animals have a natural instinct when a sudden disaster is about to happen, earthquake, storms, They have a heightened sense of awareness, but do we? my theory is again we love the things that go bump in the night, scary movies, thrill seeking, anything that scare or shock us. So too do we love strange and weird stories. Look at all the books out there on murder, Steven King novels, spy and war stories. These are probably a billion dollar industry. So I think if you are looking hard enough for these strange things, you will convince yourself that they happened and excised.

I myself don't believe in ghosts. I don't think anyone can come from the dead to haunt others. BUT i do believe that the devil likes to play tricks on people, and will send demons or himself to "scare" people to believing or whatever-but i dont think that actually happens unless they envoke the devil themselves (such as a ouiji board or psycics*sp*)
