Why they disgust the pig and consider it unclean in their belief?

Back in the day pigs carried lots of diseases and when men created religions they tried saving people and told them not to eat crustaceans or pigs.
It worked but today all pork is safe but the myth that it is unclean has stayed strong.
In the US it has been over 40 years since someone got sick with pork yet every year hundreds die with beef and chicken.

Their religions prescribe clean eating habits relating to many foods and cooking methods. The pig eats its own feces if left in a pen or sty. So the animal is thought to be unclean, containing dirty meat. There are many other eating and cooking rules in these religions, most of them are very healthy advice too.

Islam has forbidden us to eat pork because it's not good for u...i don't actually know the exact reason but it's kinda like wine..
''if something has more bad effects than benefits, we avoid it''
and so pork obviously isn't good for ur body in the long-term and u wouldn't die if u didn't eat pork, u know....so y eat something bad for u?

Its a taboo in their religions becuase basically they believe that in some time past the devil or agents of the devil possessed pigs and placed a taint upon the animals, pretty much something like that.

eating pork can do more harm than good to the human body.Since we are what we eat, the substances in them transform our body to its likeness.
Environment and economic wise, it's wasteful to raise pigs since what this animals eat is also consumeable by humans, and the space use for their food production is in competition to that of humans, thereby, raising cost of food we eat.

For them, it is dirty meat. It is a religious belief that turned out a tradition carried generation after generations.
Anyway, lets respect them.
