Those types of men are idiots to me, but then again, women that cheat on their boyfriends/husbands also annoy me and I believe they are just as stupid, and frankly seem to do it just as often.
The problem is that they either want something that they cannot get in their current relationship or they are trying to hurt the other person, I would guess.

Most guys want to feel as if they are still desirable, so the fool around. The lie comes about just to cover their tracks.no man sets out to cheat on a loved one, it is just the opportunity presents it's self, as far as lying is concerned , he really does not want to hurt your feelings.

Not all guys do that but some do. I think they do it to prove to themselves they can still get another girl and then lie about it to try not to heart your feelings. It's stupid but i think that is why they do it.
