There is no such thing as haunted places in Singapore. The word haunted is just a state of mind just like viriginity is. A person who doesn't know about the history of the house will not feel a thing. A person who hears stories about the house will imagine all sorts of things.
I have come to believe that even our Singapore Paranormal Investigators at www.spi.com.sg are bunch of craps. They want to debunk haunted experiences as scientific explanations but yet they try to hoodwinked us laymen into believing that there are something strange in the photos they take.
But evil and good spirits do exist though. I don't believe in ghosts but I believe in their existence.

Singapore is Asia's most haunted city. Strange lights flit through Hougang School, near East Coast Beach, and people are slapped by an unseen presence at the Changi Beach Houses. Ghosts appear from nowhere and beg for food along the coast near Lor Halus, and St. John Island is haunted by a ghost that calls for help and then runs away. The Hou Gang Tenements are haunted by the apparition of a screaming lady, and a person was reportedly killed by a ghost in Bedok Tenant House. In the Fort Sentosa district, the Punggol White House is haunted by a whole family who committed suicide together, while headless apparitions terrorize passengers as they pass through certain MRT mass transit stations in the city.

Anywhere! I am serious. To prove to you, this coming lunar seventh month, you can see people praying every where, why? Because they believed that ghosts are coming to haunt this human world for foods, drinks, even entertainment;etc.

There is a big, old desserted house somewhere in Marine Parade.

There are stories of curious people who have gone into the house and met with all sorts of ghostly experiences there.
