I think a healthy, lasting relationship is based on a solid close friendship. And if you are like a brother to this person you are probably closer to her than any boyfriend she's ever had. Be patient. BUT beware sometimes the whole " you're like a brother to me" deal REALLY means "we're friends but I'd never sleep with you"

if their realy important to you and you cant imagine losing them then stay freinds but if you cant deal w. it then you're better off not seeing each other for a while...just take some time to see how you feel then decide if you still want to be freinds or not
