because...it s the one thing hard for man to understand ..the fact that Christ came into the world as a man...in the likeness of the weak flesh..his purpose was to point the way to the Father...although he was God in the flesh he did what he did as an example for us ...for one because he knew wasn't going to be here forever in the earth...He had to show us the Father...IT IS AN EXAMPLE although God saw through the spans of time that there could be no man worthy to come ..and pay the price of sin for us so He came himself...and yes he is and was God in the flesh..while he was here...god bless

Yep, Isaiah is full of Prophecy, and Jesus is the given Savior and fulfillment of the Prophecy, so whats the problem?
God and Jesus is one in the same, you said it in your verse. You know no God but Me, and besides me (this means me, and no other) there is no Savior. Your preceding verse God AND Savior.
To the only wise God our Saviour... Jude 1:12
God our Saviour. Titus 2:10
...we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour. I Timothy 4:10
God my Saviour. Luke 1:47
Why would he say he IS the savior, and send one who was not himself.
...the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 1 John 4:14
...our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. II Peter 3:18
...God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. II Peter 1:1
...the Christ, the Saviour of the world. John 4:42
...the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. Titus 1:4
a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11
Meaning, God and Savior are one.
I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he. Isaiah 41:4
Jesus said, "Fear not; I am the first and the last:" Revelation 1:17

Are you a Jew. Do you despair for a saviour. If you are Christian, you must be at peace, for the saviour is none other than Jesus himself.
May I explain the prediction of Saviour, from the point of a Hindu. Hindus believe, God descends on this Earth, in some form or the other whenever the evil dominates over the good,in order to protect the good and vanquish the bad.

Man looks for the hard answers, when to answer is not hard. A military man afflicted with leprosy went to a Jewish prophet for healing. He took a small fortune with him as payment. The prophet refused the money and said to go dip in the Jordan River 7 times and he;d be healed.
The soldier was furious and stormed off saying that there were better and cleaner rivers in his home country to dip in he would not do it. His servant however was a believer in God and persuaded the soldier to go dip in the muddy Jordan River. After he had dipped the 7th time he was fully completely healed. Simple obedience to God's instructions is all it takes for us to experience similar healing. We just can not believe it is so simple.
Christ met a woman at the well. He was a Jewish man, she a Samaritan woman. He asked her for a drink, she drew water and gave it to him. He said to her he had water that she'd forever be quenched and not thirst if she drank. She at first misunderstood that He was telling her how to live. She had no husband, but had 5 before and was now living in sin. Christ simply said to her to not do it any more. She was amazed at the simplicity of His teaching, a standard reply to someone in sin that He would take time to heal. So if she stopped what ever it was she was doing she could live as God intended with a husband. She went into the city and told all she met of her meeting with Christ.

Beside God, there is no savior.
As a warrior God, did he ever send any one else to do the actual work of the saving intervention?
(think, think, did he ever send, maybe an angel to do his bidding as a saving action?)
Also, as God has no savior beside him, he does send forth obedient servants to do this saving work. The Roman soldier recognized this when requesting that Jesus heal his beloved servant. He said "I too have men under me who I can say 'you go there', this in acknowledgement that Jesus had authority to heal.
Thus, as God sent Jesus forth to do (not Jesus will) God's will, we understand that Jesus is and always will be subserviant to Almighty God.

god so beloved the world that he gave his only begotten son, need i say more...You should not take everything in the bible to heart, there are a lot of contradictions in the bible, the bible is not a history book, it was written over hundreds of years by many different people. In the end it is faith that you must have in whatever god you believe in. People have a hard time believing in something that you can't see, feel, taste, or touch.

You seem to have left out some passages from the wonderful book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed what they heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2 For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. 8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? 9 And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.
John 14:8 Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us." 9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.
Revelation 21:5 And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." 6 And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God....And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

OK... it is written in the old testament and repeated by Jesus as written in the gospels that "Man is God".. he just has to realise his true nature and he will be capable of all... Not only is this in the bible, but similar knowledge is found in many religions.
