Thanks to everyone who answered my question about what I should do with my unaltered cats when my landlord came by for inspection. Fortunately, I got the kitties spayed and out of doors and the carpets shampooed before the landlord even arrived. The cats are doing fine, and since my landlord had to hire a plumber to fix a gas leak in our house, he probably didn't even have time to notice (or at least mention) any evidence of indoor cat ownership.

Thanks again for your helpful and sometimes humorous answers!

can i give you an advice?

laying to you landlord isn't a good thing to do because if he will find out about them you will be out of a home.
best thing start looking for a new place to live which will let you bring in cats.
or when your contract is up for renewal ask your landlord to add a cat ownership section where it says it's ok for you to have cats in the house.
