a close friend of mine has been going on about her break-up for the past year. apparently, her ex was cheating on her for 8 months before he got too tired to care about hiding the affair and, of course, she found out eventually. his whole reaction to her was "so what? it's not like i love you anymore." it seems now that he's missing my friend's 'company' while his current gf is studying overseas. and now i hear they are getting back together. everything about her ex screams JERK. should i interfere and stop them from making up? because i don't feel he deserves a second chance.

sometimes i'm scared to say i'm a girl when i hear stuff like this. i dont think ur friend values herself because she doesnt realise she deserves more.....some1 who actually loves her.this guy is using her and he's gonna walk all over her like a door mat.hasnt she learnt her lesson from the previous incident?....as a friend, i think u should tell her how u feel and tell her she values more than her bf deserves.if she doesnt listen, back off and let her go on. because if she doesnt realise what ur tellin her, she's gonna find out the harder way........becuse u cant think 4 her.....hopefully she'll come to her senses inorder to prevent her from being hurt again. and even worse

You should talk to her, and somehow make it clear to her that the only reason why hes back is not because of her, but because his current girlfriend is overseas. And that he would be cheating on his girlfriend with her, and that he is the same old jerk he was before, and nothings changed. Then tell her that she can do whatever she wants but dont come crying to you about it when things go wrong once more. "And" WHEN it DOES happen again, tell her :
"I told you so, so dont f#@King cry about it now! because I dont really want hear it, I'm done talking." And make her feel stupid and bad about not listening to you "her TRUE friend."

I know you want the best for your friend I think you should try to talk to her and tell her the facts but I think that's the only thing you can do because its her decision at the end and if you force the issue your friend might think that your jealous or your wrong and your friendship can be hurt by that. Its hard but if she decided to hook up with the guy after you tell her why she should not let her be let her learn from her mistakes and just be there when the time that she will need a friend to cry on.

He's a jerk-- sorry, a MAJOR JERK!!! He cheated on her, and broke her heart, and now he wants to do the SAME THING AGAIN??? OK, your friend is gonna go through another break-up w/ him (and this time, probably a worse one) soon, if they get back together! It's trouble, and if u r her REAL friend, you know that you should stop her. Not stop her from having a BF, but to stop her from her being hurt frrom the same jerk

Wow...what a total ass...If your friend just went online, checked out this cool site, webdate*com and dated all the cutest men that webdate has to offer she shouldn't be having that problem now...because not only are the men on that site HOT but also are much nicer than that dork of a boyfriend of hers.

You can't stop someone from doing something, it'll just make them want to do it more. Sometimes it's best for people to learn from their mistakes (even if it is for the second time around). You might want to tell her that you don't want to hear about it if it goes wrong the second time.

ok.I think u should really stop them!!! Because maybe after they gona make out he'll dump her ...we know guys in most of the times all they need is **** u know and if that JERK how u called him gona do somethink like that he really gona hurt your friend ...
So i think you should really do somethink and stop them from making up cuz if he cheated on her all that time means he dont care about her and that u should never trust a guy like him so gurl do somethink and save your friend from getting hurt!!

interfere!!! your right...this guy screams jerk and your friend will be mad at you, but its beter than her getting hurt...again. and think of that other girl overseas! your opinion will matter to her alot and it may sting for a while, but she will get over it.

if I was you i would stay out of it you say anything and she will more than likely get mad at you . Just leave it be.
I know shes your friend and you care a lot about her but you have to let her learn for herself.

I know you want to protect your friend but would she listen to you? or would she be upset with you for interfering
sometimes our friends make stupid choices but they need to realize it on there own... just tell her you don't think its a good idea and say but it's your choice.. just be there for her when it goes sour
