It is so GROSS it drives me crazy it is nasty and disgusting and I have tried and tried but how do I make him stop.

Yuck!!! Sorry Lady.
But Yuck. And the dude above me is right. You are the authority figure in the house. Take a stool and call it the punishment stool.
If he pickz his nose. Get down on to his eye level and in a firm tone tell him’ This is the last warning or else you goin to the punishment stool’
If he still does it. Make him sit there for 10-15 mins. Do not let him get up if he gettz up make your tone further firmer and show some authority.
More often than not kids do things like these to get attention. Coz he knows he would get your attention when ever he pickz his nose. You know what I am saying. SO maybe you should work on it. Spend some time with him. Show him books on cleanliness and hygiene.
This should work .Be a tad firm. I hope your prob would be solved.

Tell him that what he is eating is not vitamin B (as in booger)...but that it is in fact dirt and dried snot.
Give him something else, though- to replace it...like maybe a game boy (you can't pick your nose and play at the same time...get it?)...and if he doesn't ever do it again, he gets to keep the game boy.

Gather up your boogers.
put them in a bowl.
tell him next time he picks his nose and eat it, he will be eating this bowl for dinner.
dont let him push you over.....you are the authority figure. Use your power.

Spray his hands with sanitizer. It tastes gross and is not a poison so it will not harm him. His hands will be clean too.

slap him on the head.... or hand for that matter.
You are boss, tell him...... if he cries or goes into a tantrum... just ignore him.......
Make sure he knows who is boss....
Besides he should start liking girls at that age.....
Tell him that girls find it disgusting... and that he won't get a girlfriend like that......... or will that give him a future complex?!?!?
