No, pudding is pudding and ice cream is ice cream.

Only that they are vanilla flavored. Pudding is made with Corn Starch, egg yolk and sugar. Where ice cream is made with sugar and cream. Pudding is cooked to get its consistancy and ice cream is frozen to get its consistency.

Vanilla pudding is more of a gelatin and milk and is not frozen.

Ice Cream is more of a milk, cream, sugar, mixture that of course, is frozen. Ice Cream doesn't have gelatin in it.

Pudding come with caramel and its texture is absolutely different.

One is frozen, another is cool or moderate.
