take all your drinks rectally. normally a plain old beer bong works. this method has several advantages over normal drinking:
1. alcohol is absorbed much quicker in the large intestine than in the stomach, which should mean you'll drink less to achieve the same buzz.
2. this method doesn't irritate your stomach, so you won't get sick.
3. you don't get a hangover because the free radical are already in your large instestine.
4. makes for a great show at parties. you'll be the center of attention as you take shot after shot with your pants down.
5. no bad breath the next morning.
6. breathalizers don't pick up any alcohol ingested rectally.
in short, it's the trick of the trade and is real easy to learn.

That's like asking the most popular ways to eat food are! There are so many ways to drink hard liquor.
First, you can drink it on it's own three ways:
- Neat: the liquor with nothing added
- Straight Up: Shaken with ice, then the ice removed
- On the rocks: with ice
Besides that, there are thousands of different mixed drinks in volving hard liquor, normally referred to as mixers or cocktails. You've probably heard of many.
Examples:
- Martinis
- Margaritas, Pina Coladas
- Vodka + Clamato = Caesar
I suggest finding yourself a knowledgable bartender. You can tell hi a little about your tastes, and he might be able to recommend some drinks.

vodka - can be drank in any way shape or form. however, i would say that the best is a premium vodka on the rocks, with a little lime
rum - always mixed
gin - martini, hands down
tequila - margarita or shots.
cognac - neat or shaken, but not on the rocks, you don't want it watered down
single malt scotch - neat
blended scotch - on the rocks or mixed
whiskey - any way, but the more expensive, don't mix
cordials or liqueurs - mixed, shots, anything

Go for mixed. Some drinks should be neat (single-malt whiskeys), but there is nothing wrong with a Tom Collins or an Old-Fashined or a Cuba Libre.

Man, it's pretty simple:
Do Shots until you pass out.
Vodka, Rum, Whisky, Brandy, Cognac, Burbon, Scotch, Tequilla or which ever you can think off, but the fastest way to get drunk is doing shots, straight shots!

If you're experimenting, try straight up shots....but be careful.
Also try mixing various juices with various rums or vodka's.
