In regular tournament events, you get to keep the trophy. In tournaments, like the majors, where they inscribe your name on it, you keep it for a year and return it when you come back to defend your title.

Depends on the tournament. British Open's Claret Jug, yes.

Depends if it is a major. You have to give back the claret jug after 12 months.
