My dog throws up once in a while just from like eating grass, what should I do?

Your dog is eating the grass to throw up. Something else is upsetting his stomach. Check to see what you have fed him that leads him to go eat the grass. Grass is like pepto bismol for dogs it soothes there stomachs.

My collie does the same thing. The vet said he eats grass when his stomach is upset, to help him digest his food. Try switching dog food, or feeding him smaller or larger quantities. Some dogs have sensitive tummies and you must cater to them. Hope this helps!

Dogs eat grass on purpose when they don't feel well. It causes them to throw up and ultimately feel better. Let your dog do what he/she wants. It knows what to do instinctively to help itself :o)

nothing you can do for it....just deal with it...they get upset tiummies just like us...its nothing major unless it is all day long for a few days......then he will get dehydrated and prob. some infection etc.....once in awhile is a upset tummy
