What one interests you more? Both fields are good ones to go into, so it is really up to what field you would not grow bored with or that you feel better when doing. I am not so good with numbers but am fantastic at computers, so I would choose IT for myself. My son is a whiz at numbers and at computers, so either would suit him. Other people may not feel so comfortable with computers but are math gurus. Make a pro / con list of each degree, then choose from the results you come up with - if both degrees interest you about the same. (You may be able to take one as a major, but do the other as a minor!) Best wishes!

To become a CPA you need to get a BA degree in Accounting and then continue for about three quarters to take classes to pass the state license to become an accountant.
Often if you are taking this course of action, many businesses will pay you to get your degree...and you can learn and earn at the same time.
I am taking Business Courses at a state university, and lots of my friends are taking the accounting option. Many are currently doing some type of bookeeping records like accounts payable.
