i have a 22 month old daughter, and as of a few days ago, she takes her clothes and daiper off and just insists on being naked, i know this is a normal thing, im just curious as to approximatly how long it lasts

It will not for long, I have a 19 month old boy and doing the same thing. Sometimes they just get tired with the diaper and wants to be free. Let it be for a while and get their attention to other thing. Slowly you'll get over it and get her to the normal situation. Good luck.

Depends on the kid and somewhat on how you handle it. If you treat it lightly and are consistent about putting her clothes back on, she'll get over it. On the other hand the way I potty trained my girls was to leave them naked (I was a stay-at-home Mom). For some reason that worked very well! They didn't have a problem with clothes as a result, or anything like that. If you make a fight out of it, it's more likely to be a longer-lasting struggle.

My daughter is 2 1/2 and still loves to be naked. I dont make a big deal out of it when we are home as long as her bum is protected. If I have company like friends without children ( other mom dont care and know what it is like ) then she has to wear clothes and when we go out it is a non issue but other then that she is mostly in her diaper. I would say just let her be comfy. ( but with a diaper )

It will only last a month, but insist its a NO.
My ten year old used to do that too, but the bad thing was she would get outside and run in the neighborhood, looking for her dad naked...And he was just downstairs at the laundry mat. (We lived in an apartment duplex). They move quick, I tell ya. But now, I have a hard time trying to get her to stay dressed...LOL...she strips down to just her underware, but that's only in the house that she does that, if she goes outside, she does put clothes on now.

pretty much until she finds something else that will freak you out!!
My daughter did it for a few weeks - but now every once in a while she'll want to be "naney" (her word for naked) -
I live in the middle of no where - and figure the worst thing that will happen is that the UPS Man will think I'm a perv!!!

My 24 month old girl did the same. It will last for a about six months or so. I did find that put overalls or something that was difficult for her to take off stopped her.

When my nephew was that age, he did the same thing. I believe they are comfortable that way, in their minds but she will soon realise that it is important to wear clothes. Just give it a couple of months but definately less than a year.

My daughter used to do this. I used to just send her to her room. She was told that if she wanted to be naked she couldn't watch "Life-Size" [her favorite movieat the time], if she wanted to be naked. Eventually (2wks) she got tired of being sent to her room.

My kids do that, and it used to drive me insane; so instead of trying to constantly keep them clothed, I let them do it. They make the decisions when to put clothes on, mostly when company is present because they feel embarrassed walking around without clothes on. You just have to let them.

My daughter is four...and takes off her clothes when we get in the door. I make her wear underwear, and she is happy with that.
I think it will change when she starts kindergarten.
