Are there really people who believe dinosaurs are a hoax? Please explain...?

Depending on who you talk to, if you interpret the bible literally, Earth is only 6000-7000 years old. Since scientific proof shows that dinosaurs existed long before that, fundamentalists would rather believe that dinos are just a hoax put on by the Father of Lies, a.k.a. Satan.

Ive heard that they dont and I didnt understand especially since they have scientific facts and bone fissils. But their is a possibility that they were made up because if you're a religious person and believe in G'd then how come Dinosaurs are not mentioned in any of the holy book? G'd talks about other animals. I heard from someone that back in the cave man days when man was walking on all four legs, regular size animals appeared larger to them because they were walking on all fours like animals looking up. Thats what I heard

If its the first time for us to hear such giant reptiles roam around the world way before humans then we could not help but be suspicious. But evidence of dinosaurs are mounting worldwide and even as I speak there are probably more bones recovered. No single entity could perpetrate a hoax as big as this one because it requires billion dollars funding. I only see reactions from people who might be threaten with such discovery e.g. the church.

yes, some people believe this because they are stupid. Many religious figures in the past said the earth was only 50,000 years old and could not have contained the dinosaurs. The same explanation could be said about those who used to think the world was flat. What they don't realize is that the bible never said how long ago the earth was created or what creatures inhabited it before us...

It is not the earth that is 8,000 years old, it is mans existence ON the earth. Check out Genesis chapter 5 and match it with the geneology of Jesus at Matthew ch. 1 and Luke ch. 3.
If a chart is made of the ages of the patriarchs [ Gen.5.] it will be noted that Methuselah outlived his own long lived son by only four years.
As for the earth, it could easily be the billions of years old. And we have dinosaur bones to prove it.

possibilities of dinosaurs int eh bible? did people forget about the Behemoth(JOB 40:15-24)
"Look now at the behemoth, which I made along with you; HE eats like an ox,. See now, his stregnth is in his hips, and his power is in his stomach muscles. he moves his tail like a cedar...." reading the full text i and thining dinosaurs...i would think they were describing almost a brachisaurs....
and the Leviathan?(Job 41) who, if you read, sounds like a dragon-like creature.....
dinosaurs were a real thing, whether they lived a million billion years ago, or only a few thousand years
I believe-however-that they were possibly wiped out by the flood and that is why they are no longer in exisitence

1) I had a girlfriend once whose faith told her that dinosaurs were never real, but that Satan had put the bones there to confuse people.

2) Somebody else once said that nobody's ever actually found a full skeleton of a dinosaur, but actually parts, and just guessed the rest.

Personally, I believe they existed, and that the 2 people mentioned above were either wacky, confused, or just misinformed.

*  solid 'firmmament' structure (the sky) seperating the earth from heaven (terrarium earth)
*  talking snakes and donkeys
*  demons chased out of people and into pigs
*  friendly spirits
*  evil spirits
*  walking on water
*  multiplying loaves and fishes
*  people raising from the dead
*  stopping the sun in its tracks
*  parting seas
*  people being bodily sucked up into heaven (which, by the way, lies on the 'other side' of the sky)
*  world-wide flood that drowned the earth to a depth of 40 feet above the tallest mountain
*  creating people from dust bunnies and ribs
*  magical tree of knowledge
*  god speaking from a burning bush
*  ritual cannibalism, by eating god in the form of a cracker.

My mother does. Somehow the bones are just there to confuse us - probably the work of the devil. Gets all upset over any dinosaur moves like Jurassic park (like that's a documentary anyway) Of course she subscribes to a lot of other conspiracy theories - wouldn't surprise me if she is one of those that thinks the moon landings were faked.
