I watched a documentary that discussed the parting of the Red Sea. Apparently the point where the Hebrews crossed was only three feet deep at it's deepest spot when the tide's out.
Douglas Adams put it best in the "Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy" when he described the Babelfish. It makes a weird sort of sense, but then my childhood church was big on the no proof, only faith thing.
To wit:
"The Babelfish is small, yellow and leech-like, and probably the oddest thing in the Universe. It feeds on brainwave energy not from its carrier but from those around it. It absorbs all unconscious mental frequencies from this brainwave energy to nourish itself with. It then excretes into the mind of its carrier a telepathic matrix formed by combining the conscious thought frequencies with nerve signals picked up from the speech centres of the brain which has supplied them. The practical upshot of all this is that if you stick a Babel fish in your ear you can instantly understand anything said to you in any form of language. The speech patterns you actually hear decode the brainwave matrix which has been fed into your mind by your Babelfish.
"Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mindboggingly useful could have evolved purely by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as the final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God.
"The argument goes something like this: 'I refuse to prove that I exist,' says God, 'for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.'
'But,' says Man, 'The Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED.'
'Oh dear,' says God, 'I hadn't thought of that,' and promptly vanished in a puff of logic.
Apparently Oolon Colluphid went on to make a small fortune on his blockbuster "Well That About Wraps It Up For God" even though most leading theologians called it "a load of dingo's kidneys".

if you studied religion and its history you would know that the entire god thing is mostly lies... example...According to Christians the world is only 4000 years old.... ummmmmm where did fossils come from... why are there religions that predate Christianity by 25,000 years?...what of the many examples that shoot holes in the entire story.. The Catholic Church didn't count on forensic science did they.. Some good reading.. Blood Lines of the Holy Grail, Holy Blood Holy Grail, Genesis of the Grail Kings and Pagan Europe..The true Story that "The Da Vinci Code" was based on..its partially true and why the movie caused SO MUCH controversy

Because you have his word already to follow ...not that he is Not able to all things but ...why would you expect God to do all that to convince you..and even if he did would that actually convince you that it is God...I'm sure that if he did it would be mind boggling yet it would not get you any closer to him because he would then have to prove to you it was really him...hmmm doesn't seem like we are getting any closer this way...Jesus said an evil generation requires a sign...something that proves God...when we have his word which is inherit...you may not believe so...but you just actually proved his word to be right by asking for a sign...God bless the bible and the spirit of God

It all starts with God. It is not about you. Knowing your purpose focuses your life, motivates your life and prepares you for eternity.
We are made to last forever. This life is not all there is. The way you see your life, shapes your life. If you aim to see the life from God's view. Life on earth is a test. God continually tests people's character, faith, obedience, love , integrity, and loyalty.
Our time on earth and our energy, intelligence, opportunities, relationships, and resources are all gifts from God that He has entrusted to our care and management.
The life on earth is a temporary assignment.Have you thought that maybe you should prove your self to God instead you asking Him to prove Himself to you. Look around you!! You have a lot of proof about God's existence. I have given some answers today about the faith and proof. Think about what God would like you to do. Pray for wisdom. He listens.

answer honestly....would you change your life or yourself if He did that? The deal is we are going on to a spiritual dimension and life after this place with a certain requirement of our spiritual state to be qualified for admittance.....you have to find the truth and the path within you...its more real and does more for you than seeing a miracle with ur eyes or a "being" in front of you doing that miracle like Jesus. when Jesus was in the earth thats exactly what He did and they called Him the son of the devil and nailed Him to a cross....

Just by you wondering if there is a God proves there is one. If you look at how the "universe" displays itself and the fact that you can SEE it, you would humble yourself to the Almighty God who created you and also loves you.

Actually its not all blind faith.
When god created us, he actually showed himself to us (to our souls). And he asked from us to testify if He is our God, and all our souls testified.
Then God decided to test us, He just hid behind a curtain and now He sees how many of us beleive and adhere to the oath that we gave, and how many of us forget.
Beleive me its just a matter of lookig for Him behind the curatin and youll find HIm.
He says He is closer to us than our jugular vein.
It is us who are far from HIm.

Have faith and patience. We will understand when we get to Heaven. Also watch the attitude with God. He can really be hard on you if you blaspheme his name.
