Snips and snails and puppy dog tails. Objection, assuming facts not in evidence. Not electromagnetic, but electrochemical reactions convey information (thoughts) between the neurons in your brain. The brain also controls all your involuntary functions, like your heartbeat. Brain dead=soul dead, I would guess.

The word 'soul' comes from the Greek word 'psyche' (pronounced: psi-chee). The corresponding Hebrew word is 'nephesh'. The soul is literally the oxygen that travels in one's blood. Thus, in the bible (and I don't believe in the bible) an example of this is when Christ poured out his 'soul'. How was he doing this? Answer: his blood was pouring out and the oxygen in it. So in fact his soul was being poured out. The greek word for spirit is 'pneuma' (pronounced: pnevma). Hebrew word is 'ruach'. This word means a different kind of matter (perhaps spirit matter). Ruach can also mean wind in Hebrew. Pneuma sounds similar to the Greek word for lung.
So in answer to your question: It is physical and identified as the oxygen in your blood. It is not an electromagnetic wave or any other wave.

Life is more of a process then a material it is the reverse of entopy. The second law of thermomdynamics...all systems proceed to disorder... they become less complex. Life systems get more complex and store energy.
If there is any material that is life it would have to be DNA the mechanism of replication.

No place that can be physically defined. The soul of a person probably resides in the mind, it is spiritual.

That's like asking what is god made of. The soul is not something that science can answer about. It's mythology and fable, not science.

A soul is not something that can be made of tangible things. It can not even be comprehended. It's way beyond us. No one can even imagine what a soul is.
