Depends on lots of things. Was there meat on it? If so, just an hour or two. Seafood? Maybe an hour.
How hot or cool was where it was sitting? If it was lukewarm, about an hour or two. If you had the a/c blasting, maybe an hour longer.
Was it covered? That will help too. Any flies flying around? Throw it out if so.
Lots of variables, but after 6 hours, I probably wouldn't chance it unless your place is like an igloo.

As the temperature in the pizza drops, the build up of bacteria in your food increases. While you may be fine eating a pizza you left out for 6 hours, it is always better to refrigerate the uneaten portion. Better safe than sorry!

Most of the above answers are right, if it's cooked properly and has the normal stuff on it, one day it won't hurt a normal healthy person, but could make children or the elderly very ill. Like the restaurant manager said, the danger zones are a good guide to go by, and they are strictly enforced in most states of the usa. But I also agree with lilly, up the list aways, seafood is lots more dangerous than say pepperoni.
